Nancy Reid, MSW

Nancy Reid took on the Executive Director role just before the pandemic began in 2020. Nancy completed her BSW in Kamloops in 1997 and had her first child that year. She has worked in the sector for over 30 years and had another three children along the way to keep life really interesting. Nancy completed her master's in social work in 2018 through Memorial University, Newfoundland. Her career has included a variety of roles, from mom and tot group facilitator, family intervention worker, community liaison, intake coordinator, victim's assistance volunteer, crisis line coordinator, transition house worker, learning assistance coordinator, women's service director, behaviour consultant and so on. This variety of experiences has prepared her to lead the multi service agency that Community Connections is. Nancy loves to lead organizational change, mentor, grant write and build collaboration.
